Our Renegade is loosely based on multiple cinematic bad Indians. We in no way wish to impugn the legendary19th century honorable warriors of the Sioux, Dakota, Cheyenne, Apache, or Comanche nations, among so many others. These tribal nations represented perhaps the finest light cavalry in history, and are a part of our American heritage, symbolizing freedom, independence, and bold spirit. But at more than one gun show, we at Salute have been approached by our Native American brothers of the 2nd Amendment (specific case in Arizona and California by US Marine Navajo warriors asking with a sense of humor: "You have Western White Man Targets (Outlaw and Desperado) and Mexican "Bandito" Targets (The Amigo), so how about one of us?" As one of our self-proclaimed "Redskin Warriors" said: "Forget this PC BS, as you are going to offend any number of people sometime so you may as well have a sense of humor about it." Good point. So we promised to comply. So enjoy the challenge of combating the best AR500 Renegade warrior. He is certainly no Wooden Indian.
